Timber Ridge Treatment Center is located on 187 wooded acres near the Uwharrie Forest in North Carolina. It's a short drive from Interstate 85 between Charlotte and Greensboro, and approximately 15 miles from Salisbury, North Carolina. 

The camp is within 7 miles of the nearest medical facility, and most of our boys' families find our location both easy and pleasant to visit.

Directions

From I-85

From Charlotte - Take I-85 North to exit 75 (Jake Alexander Blvd).  Make a right on Jake Alexander Blvd and follow 1.7 mi to dead end.  Make a right on Stokes Ferry Rd.  Follow Stokes Ferry Rd for 13.6 mi until you see the Timber Ridge sign on the right.  Turn onto the gravel road and follow into the woods.  Bear right when you see a parking lot and cars, our main office is located at the top of the hill, past the buses and other vehicles.

From Greensboro - Take I-85 South to exit 76 (Innes St/US 52S).  Make a left on Innes St/US 52S and follow 1.1 miles.  Make a left on Juniper/Jake Alexander and follow to dead end.  Make a right on Stokes Ferry Rd.  Follow Stokes Ferry Rd for 13.6 mi until you see the Timber Ridge sign on the right.  Turn onto the gravel road and follow into the woods.  Bear right when you see a parking lot and cars, our main office is located at the top of the hill, past the buses and other vehicles.

From Hwy 49

From Charlotte - follow NC49 North, going past Mt. Pleasant and past Richfield.  About 4.5 miles past Richfield, make a left at the flashing yellow light for Stokes Ferry Rd.  Follow Stokes Ferry Rd. for 4.8 mi until you see the Timber Ridge sign on the left.  Turn onto the gravel road and follow into the woods.  Bear right when you see a parking lot and cars, our main office is located at the top of the hill, past the buses and other vehicles.

From Asheboro - follow NC49 South for 25 miles and then  make a right at the flashing yellow light onto Stokes Ferry Rd.  Follow Stokes Ferry Rd. for 4.8 mi until you see the Timber Ridge sign on the left.  Turn onto the gravel road and follow into the woods.  Bear right when you see a parking lot and cars, our main office is located at the top of the hill, past the buses and other vehicles.
