Timber Ridge maintains an excellent, accredited staff for the education and rehabilitation of our youths. We currently maintain a Counselor-to-Camper ratio of 1:3, and campers are in constant interaction with a trained counselor. Nearly all direct care staff have obtained their college degrees, and those who haven't done so have significant experience in the field.  Overnight staff supervise each campsite during night hours.

Our Program Director, Chris Little, has been in therapeutic camping over 20 years and is responsible for the direction of the camp activities and group dynamics.

Our Nurse Practitioner, Brenda Cupp, monitors youth currently on medication every week and meets with each resident individually.

Residents attend year-round, on site schooling taught by NC licensed teachers to earn credits that transfer to their school.

Residents who need it attend weekly substance abuse counseling sessions led by a specialized professional.
