Timber Ridge

Timber Ridge Treatment Center is accredited by the Joint Commission of Health Care Organizations, licensed by the NC Division of Health Service Regulation, and accredited by the NC Department of Public Instruction. In addition, our center meets all requirements for Residential Treatment - High, Level III services. A recent survey from the North Carolina Community Programs Administrative Services (ASO) was completed and Timber Ridge was found to be in full compliance with all standards. 

Because residents ordinarily remain throughout the school year, Timber Ridge is a registered private school with North Carolina certified teachers. School credits are transferable and courses are taught following the NC DPI guidelines.  Timber Ridge employs a licensed school counselor to oversee academic matters and help with transitions to and from our Uwharrie Learning Center.
